Tualatin Hills Water Polo Club is a year round water polo club that provides Elementary, Middle and High school athletes seeking opportunities to learn water polo skills and play in games.
THWPC is one of the largest water polo clubs in the Pacific Northwest. Many of our alumni have gone on to win gold medals at the Olympics, NCAA, and State Titles.

The Beginners program is a great place for athletes to start if they are considering water polo for the first time and want to learn fundamental skills such as treading water (eggbeater), passing in the water, sculling, body balance, and learning the positions in a water polo game. Beginners will have opportunities to participate in local tournaments when available.
Must have a Bronze level USA Water Polo membership.

The Bronze program is a great place for athletes who are looking for more training per week and want to continue to build and learn new fundamental skills to prepare them for local competitions and tournaments.
Must have a Bronze level USA Water Polo membership.

The Silver Program builds on fundamental water polo skills such as treading water (eggbeater), passing in the water, sculling, shooting and body balance. The Silver program focuses on pursuing Bronze Level USAWP events, in addition to other local tournaments.
Must have a Bronze level USA Water Polo membership.

The Gold Program builds upon earlier skill learned in Bronze or Silver . The Gold program focuses on pursuing Gold Level USAWP events such as Junior Olympics, in addition other travel events and local tournaments. Athletes will be adding strength training (dryland) to their weekly training schedule.
Must have a Gold level USA Water Polo membership.

The Regional Program allows High School aged athletes to participate for less of a time commitment, and play in local Bronze level tournaments.
Must have a Bronze level USA Water Polo membership.

NationalItem Link
The National Program requires the most amount of time commitment . The National program focuses on pursuing Gold Level USAWP events such as Junior Olympics, in addition to local or international tournaments. Athletes will have strength training (dryland) in addition to the water training schedule.

What is a USA Water Polo membership?
Cleats, shin guards, a water bottle, and a pumped ball (if applicable). Please wear a plain white or grey t-shirt.

Teams are formed based on skill level, athletic ability, and potential. We aim to place every player in an environment where they can develop best.
